Take Out Boxes

If you order a lot of take out, you are going to be collecting a lot of take out boxes. Though the ones I get with Chinese food tend to be easy to get rid of, I have a problem with old pizza boxes piling up. When it comes time to take out the garbage, my husband seems to want to forget to discard of the take out boxes for some reason. I’ve even gone as far as putting them in the drivers seat of the car, and he just tosses them in the back until he feels like getting rid of them.

My mom lives in a rural area, so she can just burn her take out boxes, not that she gets a lot of them. She does have the choice of recycling or burning, but for the most part, she burns them. She quite often has the same problem, however, because her take out boxes, as few as they are, seem to pile up and take on a life of their own as well. I’m not sure what the problem is, but it seems no one can part with their pizza boxes. Perhaps it is that they are odd shaped and hard to handle, though I can’t really say for sure.

Take out boxes have taken on a new life in recent years, though the boxes used are not ones that you have saved in your home for disposal. These are always new take out boxes, or at least, I hope they are. Some people are ordering new take out boxes from supply companies to use for their weddings or other special events. They fill these boxes with favors, candies or other items and give them out to their guests. These are a neat and relatively new type of favor, and people always seem to love them.

If you want to order take out boxes for this reason, you don’t necessarily have to order from a restaurant supply company, though you can if you want to. Some wedding supply companies are now selling these just for use in weddings and special events, and you can sometimes have them personalized with what you want them to say. They are also great for children’s parties and events, and they are highly portable and can be filled with anything you like. Shop around for the best price on take out boxes, and remember to get more than you need so you don’t run out at a bad time.
